Weekly Planning Meeting, 9/6

Highlights 9/06:

The big congratulations this past week go to dean and hill. Besides
knocking off a host of smaller problems, Mr. Hill got iterators
working in C++ well enough to implement simple tuples with them.
Dean completed sensor canopies this week, another step on the
way to completion of the ent, and also did the prototype of compositors
for outlining for roger's frontend (hugh tells me that he even
plans to use these compositors for the Mac frontend, they'll
be easier to use than any Mac tools).

A big welcome this week goes to Ron McElhaney. Ron is now on
the "us" mail group; he'll be down Tuesday afternoon at 3:30
to meet everyone.

Meetings: Roger, hill, discuss debug breakpoints outside of main.
Dean, roger, discuss adding trace to translator. Michael, dean,
discuss the new regression testing concepts. Bob, marcs, spin
up on the development effort. Dean, markm, discuss partial orgls.
Dean, hill, discuss infinity. Bob, joel, marcs, discuss the
2 kinds of inclusion lists and their ramifications. Roger, markm,
discuss the parallel make hack. Ravi, talk to Nat about a Windows
interface from 2.0. Hugh, markm, discuss inclusion lists in the
backend. Hill, markm, michael, meet to merge stuff Friday. Roger,
markm, discuss 88.1 libraries. Marcs, hugh, ravi, roger, dean
discuss the representation of berts for users. Markm, joel, marcs,
comparison of object oriented databases and xanadu. MIchael,
marcs, discuss PERT.
